It is very common for the active person to have aches and pains. When our supportive muscles get tired strange things happen with our joints which can cause pain to radiate up and down the legs, and even into the hips and back. Gravity takes over and we look like this:
The ankles fall in and then our body starts to sing the “Ankle bone is connected to the…SHIN BONE” song as we start to have changes in our mechanics which effect our walking, stair climbing, squatting, and lifting. But if gravity is not our friend, then what happens if we change how our joints sit from the ankle and foot, to help our knees and hips feel much better?
Some ankle motion is safe and normal but sometimes we get too much motion in the ankles and end up in the range that looks like this:
