Dr. Claire Maederer
DPT, PT
I grew up in Eugene, OR, and completed my Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University. I spent 5 years running a dance studio as well as teaching a dance class for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, which is where I got my inspiration to dive into physical therapy I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2023 and have been practicing in the Portland area since moving back to the west coast. I have vast experience with teaching movement to all ages and analyzing and understanding body mechanics, which progressed with my education to be a physical therapist. A few of the core values that I focus on in my personal and professional life are communication, inclusion, and dependability.“Moderation in everything! – Unknown
Navigating the recovery process and continued injury prevention. I want my patients to feel supported and part of the team to get them to recovery!
I am part of the team of great clinicians to make sure all our patients have the best care they can, and I have additional experience working with adolescent dancers based on my history of being a dance teacher and studio director.
I like working at PT 360 because of the positive energy, team focus, and supportive staff!
I like watching TV series like Gilmore Girls, Mamma Mia, and more recently The Summer I Turned Pretty
When not working you’ll find me trying out different food trucks with my husband, Tyler, exploring different neighborhoods, playing with my two fluffy cats, zip-lining, going to the zoo, or deep diving into my latest Broadway obsession (fun fact: I call it my Broadway Wall, which consists of a small poster of every show I’ve seen!)
